Why lament?

Laments; I've got a few. Whining, sniveling, sobbing uncontrollably, these were all part of my first blog (still out there somewhere, just as unread as this one) and I have almost lost the will to complain.
My original lament was that getting old means you are automatically wrong... wrong and irrelevant. On my old blog, I used to whine that just because an idea or technique is old does not mean it is inherently or intrinsically obsolete. Then I wised up and now I believe that if it is old it is worthless. Old = ludicrous, but I wax sniveling.
This blog is a gift from my genius cousin Michael http://www.cruftbox.com/ who thinks everyone with a keyboard must blog.

He liked the ancient writings attributed to me on the old usenet newsgroup alt.movies.monster. (I told you that newsgroup was doomed. ) So he posted the two Laments of OtiGoji and turned it over to me. You owe him for this.
